5 Tips to Checking Out
Check out of the grocery store faster...
1. Choose the lane with the fewest people - no matter how full their baskets.
Studies show the line will move faster.
2. Load conveyor belt with frozen and refrigerated items first.
Then group like items to speed up scanning & bagging...and unpacking.
3. Pack breakables with small boxes or soft packages in between.
Raw meat should be packed separately from other
groceries to prevent cross contamination.
4. Bagging - Stabilize contents by stacking boxed items along the outer edges to create "walls".
5. Packing the cart - Pack bags without fragile items into the cart first,
then stack remaining bags, with crushables on top.
